Had a fantastic meal at Crispy Dosa on Orpington High Street. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The Samosa Chaat was especially good, packed with flavour and perfectly balanced. The Chilli Paneer was nice and saucy with just the right amount of spice. The Schezwan Noodle Dosa was a really interesting and tasty twist on a classic dosa. The Ghee Paper Roast was absolutely massive, wonderfully crisp, and great to share. Overall, great food, friendly service, and excellent value. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

I had a really great experience dining here. The food was absolutely delicious and everything we ordered was full of flavour. We started with the Chilli Idly, which was a perfect starter nicely spiced and very tasty. For the mains we had Chole Bhature and Masala Dosa and both dishes were excellent. The dosa was perfectly crispy and the chole had a rich, authentic taste. I also tried the Passion Fruit Martini, which I really loved it was refreshing and paired nicely with the meal. The restaurant itself looks beautiful and has a very pleasant atmosphere. It’s clean, comfortable and a lovely place to enjoy a meal. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

It was lovely as ever to come by to Crispy Dosa in Orpington with my parents. We always choose our fav drinks and food that is Masala Tea which is always a must, Chole Bhatura and Masala Dosa too. Truly, there is always a space for improvement as well. Our recent service was done by Kavitha that is always bubbly and has a attitude of making our visit blissful.

Extremely disappointing experience at Crispy Dosa. While their South Indian dishes are just about acceptable, the North Indian food and Chinese snacks are absolutely terrible and nowhere near authentic. The biggest issue is their absurd sambar policy. They serve sambar in a ridiculously small bowl, which is nowhere close to enough to finish a large dosa (clearly visible in the picture). They allow only one extra refill, and after that, you’re expected to PAY for more sambar. This is nothing short of greedy. •For clarity, we ordered one plate of Medhu Vada (which came with 1 portion of sambar) and two dosas (one paper roast dosa and one masala dosa). There were four of us sharing the food. Initially, only 3 small katoris of sambar were served with the food. After that, we requested 4–5 refills of sambar for those same 3 katoris. If sambar is unlimited—as stated—it doesn’t make sense to count refills as new “portions.” So there is definitely no unlimited sambhar policy ! The staff later claimed that 8 portions were served, which is completely incorrect. If we were wasting food, why would we repeatedly ask for refills? We were clearly consuming what we requested. What was even more disappointing is that we were charged £4.99 for an extra portion of sambar, which feels excessively high and unfair given the situation. I will be uploading photos and the bill in my next review to clearly show how many portions of sambar were actually served. Any decent South Indian restaurant

Firstly, what a pleasure to have water and glasses already ready on the table. It’s such a small touch, but it immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was wonderfully different and absolutely delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Every dish felt special and carefully prepared. We were looked after by Sai and Sandhya, who were so warm and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed and helped us feel completely relaxed in the restaurant. I would highly recommend Crispy Dosa to anyone looking for a lovely dining experien
