This page explains how The Kent Business Directory handles information submitted through the site.

Business owners may provide account details, listing details, contact information and images when submitting a listing. Visitors may provide contact details when sending an enquiry or leaving a review. This information is used to operate the directory, manage accounts, review submissions, moderate reviews and route enquiries.

Public listing information, such as business name, town, category, description, phone number, website and address details, may be displayed on public pages after review. Enquiry messages are stored so they can be passed to the relevant listed business.

The site uses Supabase for authentication and database storage, Cloudflare for hosting and security services, and Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection. Do not submit information that you do not want processed for these purposes.
